Summary
Atop the forest canopy near the Abandoned Residence, Mario and a crowd of onlookers watch the distant Rogue Sapling erupt in a screeching rage, hurling a flaming ball of wood that crashes down nearby.
Scene 1 - EXT. Abandoned Residence
Mario speaks with a Monty Mole atop the forest canopy who is intently staring at the Rogue Sapling in the distance.
MONTY MOLE: "I wonder what it's thinking about right now. Or does it think at all?"
As he finishes speaking, a deep screeching noise can be heard in the distance. Everyone nearby stands up and frantically looks around. Their confusion can be heard intermittently.
GALOOMBA: "What on earth is that?!"
WOMAN TOAD: "Is something finally happening??"
The screech can be heard again. The Rogue Sapling launches a flaming ball of wood out of its trunk towards the sky. It can be seen flying up in the background, eventually falling down in front of Mario and the others in the foreground. A loud crash is heard upon impact.
After leaving the level, transitions to Vegetable Vale
